From its Genesis in 1993, the MOD have not just been acclaimed as the best Dhol teaching institute but, have earned a reputation of being the pioneer Dhol performance group in the UK and abroad.

The Ministry of Dhol have been heavily performing at Indian wedding events for the past 24 years and are currently ranked exceptionally high within the whole Asian wedding / Asian dj / entertainment industry, globally.
At the core of the MOD is Prithpal who is a veteran in the Dhol field. Prithpal single handed-ly pioneered the Dhol industry in London and is responsible for the majority of Dhol players and Dhol groups in the whole of London, not to mention his influence on Dhol groups all over the UK and abroad.

With regard to our performances, in a wedding type of environment we start by escorting the bride and groom into the reception party. We accompany them (while playing) right up to the cake table and then do a little piece with our tailored made backing track. We then perform a full on extended heart pounding piece half way through the party.

The educational wing of the MOD provides weekly classes with a contemporary syllabus aimed at all learning personalities and tuition is based on a One on One format.

On the entertainment front, the MOD are the most sought after and respected Dhol performance group on the Asian Wedding Circuit.  With well maintained relationships among the finest DJ’s in the UK and working closely with all Maharaja staff, the MOD continues to exhilarate audiences with heart stopping performances.
